Lets try that again. Here are the details for the rearranged race at Suffolk sup

All levels and board types are welcome with several categories from beginner to experienced SUP racer.

Racing will be held again at Alton Water. Earlier this year Alton was taken over by Anglian Water, due to this there are a couple of things that have changed at the lake this year.
Every racer will have to wear a PFD ( this can be a waist one) unfortunately this is compulsory but we may all appreciate an extra layer in January!
We do have some available and i will put tab on the registration page if you need one.
Also the car park now costs £3 for the whole day.


Race categories are the same for the whole series.

Novice Challenger (up to 12'6”): Has never raced outside club, EASI races, or novice level at the British SUP Club Championships (ie; novice 12'6" or under 12' fleets)

Racer (up to 14ft): Has raced nationally but hasn’t made podium (ie; GB SUP, UK SUP, BSCC main fleets)

Experienced racer (14ft): Regularly races and has made podium at national races (GB SUP, UK SUP and BSCC age group podiums included)

These are guidelines rather than strict rules, but we would like everyone to enter in the spirit of them – if you’re not sure which category to race, please ask your club captain or message us. EASI reserves the right to ask paddlers to change category as we see fit.

We are looking to run a course similar to last year as it seemed to be fun :-)
