HELL HOLE GRAVEL GRIND

Tired of the sand of other gravel rides! Want something different? Then the Hell Hole Gravel Grind is the race and ride for you. Come join us on October 19th, 2019 at 8 am and race or just ride on West Texas caliche roads out in the country away from civilization in the middle of nowhere. We have flat sections, grades, hills, and then Hell Hole Road. Only the repentance rider shall survive!

Select your distance of 50k, 75k, and 100k. All distances start and finish at the same location of RM853 (Arden Rd) and CR411. Awards will be given for Top 3 finishers, male and female, in each race distance. Registration for all distances is $40 which includes T-shirt, SWAG bag and lunch. Additional T-shirts are $15 and additional lunch tickets are $10 with on-line registration. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed with same day registration.

The Hell Hole Gravel Grind will be at RM853 (Arden Rd) and CR411 in Irion County. This is 17 miles West of Hwy 2288 from San Angelo TX on RM853 (Arden Rd). There are no facilities at this location other than the race setup equipment and porta-potties. Parking will be perpendicular to the fences along the wide shoulder of the road. The routes will be marked for riders and water stops will be located along the routes. SAG vehicles will be on the routes for riders.

A special cash award will be presented to the highest active military, reservist, retired military, or veteran finisher in the 100k race. An award will be for the highest male and female rider.

So if you are wanting a challenge, bring your gravel bike, MTB, or fat tire bike (ebikes may be ridden but not compete for awards) and take on the Hell Hole Gravel Grind. It is easy to ask forgiveness, it is hard to ride Hell Hole!
