Lake Wenatchee Paddle with Cynthia Neely

 
Cynthia is a half-time Lake Wenatchee resident who is a poet and a painter and a joy to have as a member of PVAW (usually winter - skiing).  She is inviting us to the North Shore of the lake at her home for a paddle!

Bring your own vessel:  kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, etc. Please bring your PFDs, if you plan to be out on the water.  If some of you don’t have a vessel, please let us know with your RSVP by Monday, July 8th, as we have limited access to some extras.  If you prefer to not go out on the water, you are also welcome to relax by the water.  And let's all wish for calm winds! 

Plan B
The lake has been so windy of late and thus, we will have a Plan B, in case we decide the winds are too intense to be on the water and/or linger at the beach.  Cynthia has generously volunteered to guide us on a Plan B road bike ride.  For those of you who would prefer to hike, in the event of Plan B, I will offer a shuttle to hike to Dirty Face Waterfalls.

Lunch Social
From 11:30-1pm, we will enjoy a PVAW potluck:)  Please bring a lunch dish to share. 

What to bring?
PFDs and your vessel: kayaks, canoes and paddle boards!
Small appetizer or lunch dish to share.
Proper dress for the weather, layers are always wise.
Sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito spray, a hat
Snack & Water for when we are out on the lake.
IF Plan B - Bike or hiking shoes!

Transportation Plan
We will be transporting personal equipment for this adventure and thus, will need to drive separately to Cynthia's home.  Carpooling is encouraged!  I will provide her address and parking instructions in response to your RSVP.

If you prefer to ride the PVNT shuttle from Plain Hardware to Cynthia's and back, please let me know!  If you choose this option, we will not be able to transport any vessels or bikes.

We will send an email by 7:30am on July 10th, to let you know if we are paddling or Plan B!
