Join us June 22nd, 2019 for the 5th annual Great Chickasawhay River Race! All kayaks, canoes, and SUPs are welcome to enter to race in over 25 different racing divisions. Our course is a 22.3 mile stretch of the scenic Chickasawhay River between Shubuta and Waynesboro.

K1=Solo Kayak, K2=Tandem Kayak, C1=Solo Canoe, C2=Tandem Canoe

K1 Pool Toy: 10 feet and under, unlimited width
K1 Short: 10'1" to 12'6", unlimited width
K1 Medium: 12'7" to 15'6", greater than or equal to 22" width
K1 Long: 15'7" to 17'11", greater than or equal to 21" width
K1 Fast: Greater than or equal to 18', 19'6" to 21" width
K1 Race: Skinny surfskis, Less than or equal to 19'6" width
K2 Rec: Unlimited length, Greater than or equal to 22'1" width
K2 Race: Unlimited length, Less than or equal to 22" width
C1 Rec: Less than or equal to 17'6" length, Width Greater than or equal to 16% length
C1 Race: Any solo canoe that does not meet C1 Rec specs.
C2 Rec: Less than or equal to 17'6", Width Greater than or equal to 16% length
C2 Race: Any tandem canoe that does not meet C2 Rec specs.
Unlimited 1,2,or 3: Boats that do not meet any of the above specs. Check with us at friendsofthechick@gmail.com
