“Rio's Dash with Splash 5K” is a run/walk to benefit multiple charities on behalf of Rio Salado College.

Rio Salado College, one of ten Maricopa Community Colleges and one of the largest online public community colleges in the nation. Rio Salado offers 600+ online classes, 100+ degree and certificate programs and general education courses. The college also provides support for dual enrollment, military and incarcerated students and serves as one of the largest providers of adult basic education in Arizona. Whether you are a competitive runner looking for a new PR on this fast, flat course, or you are ready to run your first 5K, or just looking for a fun, family activity on a beautiful Saturday morning, all ages and ability levels are welcome!

All participants receive a custom finisher medal and T-Shirt. No packet pickup is necessary! Check is from 6:30 - 7:45 am on Saturday, March 23, 2019. The race is scheduled to start at 8:00 am, so please arrive early! The race is chip timed with age group awards in 14 categories and includes a free raffle drawing. Water, Gatorade, snacks and popsicles will be provided.

The course is located at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 with overflow parking located at the Lutheran church, just North of the park off 56th Street.

$35 Registration until 3/22.
$40 on Race Day.

Virtual option: If you can’t make the date, you may run your race virtually on any day, time or course that you choose. Simply report back your finishing time using our Contact us form at RunYourRaceAZ.com. Race packets will be mailed to virtual participants during race week.

Note: Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations received after March 8th. We will do our best to provide an acceptable size at check-in.

Our events are both dog and stroller friendly, but the course does include a short trail section that is not paved.
