The Revelstoke Paddlesport Challenge offers the LONGEST paddlesport race in British Columbia! It takes place on scenic Lake Revelstoke and is surrounded by iconic mountain and glacier views. This unique race allows paddlers of all types to 'choose their own adventure' while following David Thompson's route on the Columbia River (now resevoir). The level of CHALLENGE is up to YOU! There are several options to choose from that offer varying degrees of difficulty / length. The options are:

1. The " David Thompson Classic " : 125 kms over 3 days stages, including 6 portages in total. This challenge
option is the LONGEST paddlesport race in BC!

2. The "No Portaging" Options - Same route, but WITHOUT the portages AND within this option, paddlers
can choose what distance they will challenge themselves to.

3 days (125kms)- Friday, July 19th, Sat. July 20 & Sunday, July 21st, 2019
2 days (83 kms)- Saturday, July 20 & Sunday, July 21, 2019
1 day (37 kms)- Sunday July 21, 2019.



*This race takes place on Flatwater,- no currents, no rapids.

* You will receive a confirmation of registration via email. You will also receive a Paddler's Handbook in the mail. It is required that all participants read and understand it before the race weekend.
