Wavechaser#1 Half Moon Bay Novice Course

LOCATION - Pillar Point Harbor, Public Boat Ramp, Half Moon Bay, CA
Registration Check in begins at 8 AM. Check in closes 30 minutes before each course start.

COURSES

NOVICE Race Start 9:00 AM. Approx. 3 miles. $15 pp. No age divisions except for Juniors.

SHORT Race Start 10:00 AM (or after Novice race finishes) Approx. 5 miles. $30 pp or $15 pp for Juniors. No age divisions except for Juniors.

LONG Race Start 12:00 PM (or after Short race finishes). Approx. 10-12 miles. $30 pp or $15 pp for Juniors.


CLASS DIVISIONS
NOVICE COURSE: U16 (16&under), U19 (17-19), U23 (20-23), OPEN (24+)
SHORT COURSE: U23 (23 and under), OPEN (24+)
LONG COURSE: U23 (23&under), OPEN (24-45); MASTERS (46-59); SR. MASTERS (60+)
WATERMAN/WATERWOMAN - Races a different boat craft solo in each course
OC2/DOUBLE SURFSKI/MENTOR - A Junior racing a double with an Open Mentor. Mentors race for free.
V3 Juniors/Mentor -Two 23 and under; and one Open Mentor steersperson

AWARDS Requires 5 to create a Division class. If less than 5, you will be added to another class with awards based on overall finish.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR DOUBLES or V3 TEAM, Select Team option and enter names of all members of your team. Be sure that each team member completes a waiver.

DISCOUNT FOR RACING MORE THAN ONE COURSE: If you are registering for Short or Long course, and are racing an additional course, the 2nd course fee is $10.00. When registering for the additional course, choose to pay in person on race day to receive your discount. If you race all three courses, the Novice course is Free, but be sure to register in advance.

LATE FEE $10 FOR REGISTERING ON RACE DAY. Please help us keep on schedule and help the volunteers by registering online in advance of the race. This also gives us a more accurate estimate of participants for planning purposes. If you register in advance and then choose not to race, we will refund your registration (less Pay
