Race Info


The 2018 6 Hour of the Dinosaur is hosted by San Angelo Bicycling Association. The race takes place inside San Angelo State Park at the North Shore Pavilion. It uses a 9 mile loop on the north end of the state park utilizing Badlands, Riverbend, Scenic Loop, Shady and of course the famous Dinosaur trail. Ride either one-lap solo, 6 hour solo, or 6 hour team.

Entry Fees


Fees are $25 junior, $30 solo rider one lap, $35 solo rider 6 Hours, and $70 team 6 hours. This includes T-shirt, meal ticket, entrance fee to park, and registration for extra prizes at end of rides. Extra meal tickets are $5 when registering on-line. Extra t-shirts may be available on day of race/ride.

New This Year


Two new categories for this year! One is the Open Fun Team. This team is 2 or more riders who only want to have fun and not compete. May ride together or single. Only two T-shirts and meal tickets will be provided to Open Team. Dual Dino category is for riders who have already completed the 15k race earlier in the day and then ride the 6 Hour race.

Awards and Prizes


Awards will be presented to top three in each category except Open Category. Extra prizes will be drawn for after presentation of awards.

Team Registration


Only one team member needs to register the team. There is an area to add your Teammate's Name and T-shirt size but it will want full team payment.

Camping Fees


Overnight camping is available in the park however it must be scheduled and paid on an individual basis. The Race/Ride does not include any camping spots. Use of Campers in parking lot on day of race will be allowed at no fee as long as not connected to any park connections.

On Site Registration


On site, same day registration will be available but a T-shirt cannot be guaranteed
