The Marquette Trails Festival Crit Race is a new event for 2018. We will have two classes, an Open (Road bikes or whatever is your fastest rig) and a Klunker (commuter bikes, dirt jumpers, this is a fun class, if your bike looks to fast or doesn't fit our Klunker definition we will not let you race it).

The Open Category will race 5 laps around the main loop in the Rippling River Campground. The loop is just short of a 1/2 mile so this will be a short 2.5 mile race.

The Klunker Category will race 2 laps around the same loop in the Campground for a 1 mile race.

This is an all out sprint, no age classes and no categories beyond racing the Open or the Klunker. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be awarded for both Men and Women in both classes.

Both classes will have a 25 person limit.

The Open class will start racing at 8:45pm on Friday June 22nd. Please be lined up and ready to go by 8:40pm at the latest.

The Klunker Class will start racing at 9:05pm on Friday June 22nd. Please be lined up and ready to go by 9:00pm at the latest.... our plan is to basically start as soon as the Open class finishes.

Have fun, be safe, and go fast.... in that order.

Participants will receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival Hat (one hat per participant even if competing in multiple festival events).
