WHAT TIME?
Participant check-in kicks off at 7:00 – 7:45am. Which will be followed by a race briefing.

First start will be off at 8:15am.

Expect/aim to finish before 11:30am. A drink and food is included in your entry fee.

HOW LONG DO WE GO FOR?

The 18km long course will be the main target for many paddlers training towards the Avon Descent this year.
Other courses available include: 11km short course, 6km novice/guppy/SUP course, 3.5km guppy/SUP course

Age

This race is organised according to ICF rules so enter the age category you are on the 1st January 2018

Race class constitutes:

Male – 4 craft to a class. Female – 3 craft to a class.

Open class will be constituted first in each craft class, and classes constituted by age thereafter.

If paddling a K2 choose the age category for the youngest member of the pair. (eg 20 yr old and 45 yr old choose Open).

The exception is if one is a junior then choose an Open age category (eg 17 yr old and 45 yr old choose Open)

The race organisers reserve the right to combine craft to form a class.
