FILLING OUT THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE GUARANTEED AS A VOLUNTEER, WE WILL RECONFIRM WITH YOU 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT TO BE SURE YOU ARE STILL COMING.

Volunteering for a Fuego y Agua event is tough! If you are not ready for heat, bugs, hiking, waiting, carrying, adapting to change, being patient, being open minded, being laid back and cool, then DO NOT come down. You will be up without sleep for 24 hours, you will have to carry your food and water into remote locations, you will need to learn to use a radio or satellite communicator to send/receive important reports, you will need to follow instructions carefully, you will need to bring a headlamp, jacket, good shoes and a great attitude.

Please do not fill this out if you are not 100% sure about volunteering for the event. The events will start/finish on (Survival Run Feb 28, 12pm to March 1, 12pm) (Ultra-Trail March 3, 5am to March 4 10am) at Playa Santo Domingo, Isla de Ometepe, Nicaragua. Exact dates/details will be given once the Volunteer Coordinator sends out final information.

Please Note!
*We do not cover travel expenses to/from the event.
*We do not provide lodging for event.
*We provide food ONLY for the hours when you are volunteering, this may be in the form of a packed meal. If you need/want anything specific, you must bring it with you!
