2017 AKC Pairs Enduro 19/11/17, Sunday, November 19, 2017, 119789

The Event:
Find a partner with similar speed and endurance and come and test your wash-riding skills in this time trial race with a twist.

The Course & Waves:
Distance 13kmStart at Middle Swan Bridge, paddle downstream passing right of Ron Courtney Island, make a left turn around the spit post off the Claughton Reserve boat ramp before Redcliffe bridge then head up stream again keeping the Island on your left and finish at Ascot Kayak Club. Pairs to be sent off together at 1 minute intervals, from slowest to fastest. The idea is to work as a team, taking turns to wash ride each other for your best time.

Rules:
All pairs must remain within 20m of each other at all times. Race time is taken when the second paddler crosses the finish. No pair may wash ride another pair or any power craft.

Registration Notes:
Registration being posted on Web on Tuesday 7th November and will close midnight Thursday 16th November. All participants enter separately and enter partners' names.

Cost:
Adult AKC and CWA members: $20.00 per paddler
Adult Non-AKC, CWA members: $25.00 per paddler
Junior [14 years and Under] AKC and CWA members: $10.00 per Paddler
Junior [14 years and Under] AKC and CWA non-members: $20.00 per Paddler

Burger and a drink included in the price of entry.
