TUBAC RUN/WALK FOR TATAS

The run/walk starts at the Governor’s Mansion. The run will be 10k and the walk 5k. The course meanders through the neighborhoods of Barrio de Tubac. There will be an information booth on breast cancer at the start of the run-walk. The event will be held from 9am to 11am on Sunday, October 22, 2017. At this time, I am very proud to announce that this year the run/walk will be coordinated by my friend Patty Molina. She is the senior director of the Mariposa Community Health Center. I am very confident that with Patty's guidance that this year's event will be a huge success.

Walkers/runners are encouraged to wear pink from head to toe to show their support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Day.

WHO BENEFITS:

The run/walk is completely nonprofit. The beneficiaries of these funds will be JUNTOS CONTRA de EL CANCER/TOGETHER AGAINST CANCER, a Community Health Worker outreach, that provides screening, treatment, referral patient navigation and support program in Santa Cruz County based out of Mariposa Community Health Center (MCHC). The program is housed in the Community Health Services department of MCHC and serves all women in the county. As this event planner we are proud to be associated with this group.

EVENT PRICE:

Run/Walk $20.00 registration fee.
THE ENTIRE COST OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE. ALL NET PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE TOGETHER AGAINST CANCER GROUP. NO ONE TAKES A SALARY FROM THIS FUND, WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS.
