If you miss this cut-off, you will need to fill in a form at registration at Rabbit Island, so arrive nice and early.
Wallace Shield Series Event 1 - 18/04/2026
Event 1 - "Guess your time!" - no watches allowed.
Check-in & start at the "Old Domain".
The course is laps around a 1.7km loop .
If you want points, keep to the same category throughout the series. Everyone welcome.
At event registration you will need to give your "Guess your time!" so make sure you have this worked out beforehand.
Categories:
Runner 3 Laps - 5km (can run, jog & walk during the event)
Walker 3 Laps - 5km (must only walk - no running allowed)
2 Laps - 3.4km (can run & walk - no points given out)
1 Lap - 1.7km (can run & walk - no points given out)

Register and get your race number for all Waimea Harriers & Athletics Nelson events. Choose a category that fits your current status and this can be changed if necessary in person at each event. Accompanying Parents: If you want to run around the course with your child, please go through the finish line with them.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE SCHOOLS LEAGUE EVENT
You will need a different Webscorer number for the Schools League!
Before you register, check that you don't already have a number from last year!
