Volcano's 'Ōhi'a Lehua Half Run



This year, we will be offering only a half marathon and 5k distance.

Currently, we do not have a cap on the number of runners. This may change in the coming weeks, please know that if we have to decrease the size of the race, we will cancel those that have registered latest. Please continue to be understanding as restrictions may change in the future.

This event will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Volcano Village (start/finish at the Volcano Art Center ***tentative to change depending on Covid regulations). The half marathon will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the 5k to follow. The cutoff time for the race be at 11:00 a.m. Shirts will be given to all finishers and ONLY HALF MARATHON PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE MEDALS.

Specific race and Covid instructions to be emailed to all runners.

Shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

Proceeds to be donated to Rapid Ohia Death and the Volcano Community.

Half Marathon: $80
5K: $40

June 21 - August 12:
Half Marathon: $90
5k: $50
