Great day for paddling!
Average water 10mm on the Gardiner water meter, a slight incoming tide offset by a 15 kt North easterly breeze off the hills.
A strong field of over 50 boats 55 paddlers on the water and everyone went home with a prize, can't ask better than that!
A big thank you to all the Paddlers for some great racing, Sponsors for their support and Canning River Canoe Club members and volunteers who assisted on the day, and as always thank you to Shelley Sailing Club for the use of their wonderful facility
