22 boats registered but we lost five in ferry island crossings, etc.

Not to be left out, Mark M raced around Shaw from Crane Island for 15 miles).

17 spectacular boats finished with over thirty racers coming in between under two hours (1hr 57min) and Julie in an expedition sea kayak (4hrs 45min) - and she got welcomed in by Orcas as the whale tour boats were motoring towards her.

A most enthusiastic reception for ribbons by first timers and the all-ladies and mixed OC-6's from Friday Harbor.

The Captain's Pub crowd cheered all the leaving rowers as they got on the evening ferry, with the dock master hoping Sound Rowers is planning for something special for the 50th anniversary in 2 years!
