The 5K will be in person (under CDC guidelines) or runners can choose to run virtually and submit their times BY 11:59 pm on May 18. Donations for the run will go towards The Berlin SMITH Scholarship. The SMITH Scholarship will go to two graduating Berlin students who demonstrate the following qualities: Service-Merit-Integrity-Truth-Honor in honor of Bob Smith, a Berlin Graduate. There will also be  Family Fun/Wellness Fair from 9-1 pm. We will have a variety of free activities for the young and old alike. The focus for this event is as follows: Mental Wellness, Financial Wellness, Physical Wellness, and Social Wellness/Safety.

WAIVER I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official related to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running this event including, but not limited to fall, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road. I permit the use of photographs in newspapers, brochures and other promotional materials without compensation. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Berlin Central School, sponsors, volunteers and officials, their representatives from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.
