COVA Kickball Tournament - Spring 2024

Coastal Virginia Kickball - Spring 2024 Tournament is on May 18th

Join us in Mathews County in October for the fall kickball tournament. We're looking forward to another great event cohosted by Mathews Little League (MLL) and Mathews Outdoor Club (MOC). Registration is now open for individuals who are part of a team (minimum of 10 players & 1 volunteer per team is required) and for individuals who are looking for a team (we'll assign you to a team randomly). Only $25/ person, must be 14 or older to participate - no previous kickball experience is required.

Registration Categories - you will need to select from one of these options:

1. Players on a sponsored team - select this option if your are fortunate enough to have a sponsoring organization who will pay the registration fees for all team members. Provide your name/ age/ shirt size & sign the waiver and indicate your organization name. Select this option only after confirming with your sponsor that they understand the per-player cost and are ready to provide payment for the entire team Registration fees will not be charged to the individual - your organization will be billed $25/ player who signs up.
   
   
2. Players on a non-sponsored team - select this option to register yourself if you already know who your team members will be. Provide your name/ age/ shirt size & sign the waiver and indicate your team name. Each player will pay $25 and need to have a minimum of 10 players and one volunteer per team (volunteers must register but do not pay $25 - see "Volunteer" category below).
   
   
3. Players without a team - select this option to sign up to play and we will assign you to a team. Provide your name/ age/ shirt size & sign the waiver; for "Team Name" select N/A Registration is $25/ player. Team assignments will be made in the order of registration: the first 10 players who register in this category will consistute a full team, and the next 10 players will be another team. If less than 10 players in this category register, they will be added to an existing team as deemed appropriate by the tournament organizers.
   
   
4. Volunteers - Each team must provide a volunteer who will attend the tournament and be present with their team at all scheduled games. Volunteers do not pay a registreation fee but still need to register, identify their team and select shirt size. During the game the two volunteers per game will keep score, monitor the inning outs and keep the game time (50 minute clock). Volunteers should provide their name, team affiliation and shirt size when they sign up. Volunteer duties will continue as long as their team progresses in the tournament, except for Championship Game (tournament organizers will provide neutral timekeepers/ refs/ scorekeepers for final game).
