*****Hi all. Will 11 teams entered it is a shame that we have decided to cancel this event for February 2017. Ideally we needed 30 teams to make the event viable and a further 20 teams to make it a party. For those that have entered we will process refunds over weekend. On the date of the event (25th February) there will be an open day for the track so please head along anyway for a ride and support the NTrailsZ team.

What’s the best fun you could have as a group in the Upper Hutt area? Well – heaps of options actually but here is one more. Teams of up to five mountain bikers racing relay style through some of the best 4wd and single track around, over 6 or, if you and your mates are hard enough - 12 hours. You pick your team race order. You pick how often you ride. We have the course all sorted. Throw in some dof dof dof music and we will have a party atmosphere for the event.

12 hour teams will start at 8am on Saturday morning. 6 hour teams will start at 2pm on Saturday. All riders complete through to the grand finish at 8pm Saturday where we will follow the finish with prize giving.

Each team gets allocated their ‘home’ spot. This is where you will transition. Bring along anything that you need to make this comfortable (that can fit in a 3m by 3m allocation). Gas BBQ’s are permitted but no open flames. Parking will be separate to the team base areas.

There are several event categories that cater for the wide range of weekend warriors and hard out racers that we expect to love this event, including those nutcases that want to ride the whole thing solo.
