4th Annual Kevin O'Sullivan Classic 5K


An annually held 5K in memory of Kevin O’Sullivan who was a faculty member of Concord University. Proceeds go to the 5 Aces Scholarship Fund at Concord University.

-Date: Saturday March 17, 2018 St. Patrick's Day

NEW THIS YEAR....Kids Fun Run is FREE and will take place BEFORE the 5K Run/Walk. There is no registration or shirt for the kids fun run. Ages 10 and under just show up at the track for the 9:30 race. All fun run participants receive an award.

-Time: Kids 800 Meter Fun Run starts at 9:30am---5K Run/Walk starts at 10:00am

IF YOU REGISTER FOR THE 5K WALK YOU MUST WALK THE ENTIRE RACE.

-Registration: Leslie R. and Ruby Webb Carter Center (basketball gym), Concord University 8:00-9:15am

-Divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

-Awards: Trophies to top 3 overall male and female (overall winners not eligible for age division awards)

-Top 3 in each age division for 5K run

-Top 3 overall male and female walkers will also receive trophies (Must walk entire course. Running not allowed.)

-All Fun Run participants receive an award

-Long sleeve technical t-shirts guaranteed to all those registered before January 15th.
(NO T-SHIRT FOR FUN RUN)

-If you can't make it to the race and would still like to order a shirt, select "Nonparticipant/Shirt Only". Make sure and put your mailing address. Shirts are $25.

-Race begins and ends on Concord University's track

Men - 2016 Lance McDaniel 16:34
Women - 2016 Erin O'Sullivan 21:21

-Registration fees-
$25 through January 15th
$30 January 16th through March 15th
$35 day of race (March 17th)

-No Refunds! Reminder that proceeds from the event goes to the 5 Aces Scholarship Fund at Concord University.
