Race Office

Whiskey Flat Shelter, Mt Hotham - open from 8.00am – 9.00am on race day.
Race numbers/bibs can be collected during this time.

Volunteer Officials

AB events can only be run with the generous assistance of volunteer officials. Each athlete is encouraged to nominate a volunteer official for each race day. Volunteer Officials to kindly register with Race Secretary by 09:00 on Race Day.

Competitor Briefing: 9:10 am at Whiskey Flat Shelter
Zeroing: 9:15 am to 9:40 am on race day
Start Time: 9:50 am;
Medal Presentations: 13:30 pm at Whiskey Flat Shelter

Closing Date and Late Entries


The closing date for entries is the Sunday preceding the Race. Entries after the closing date incur a $20 Late Fee. Late entries will be accepted until 5:00 pm on the Friday preceding race day . No further entries will be accepted after this time

Veterans: =< 1960
Masters: =< 1980
Open: =< 1994
Open B: =< 1994
U21: = 1995-1996
U19: = 1997-1998
U17: = 1999-2000
U15: = 2001-2002
U13: = 2003-2004
U11: = 2005-2006
U9: = 2007-2008
Sports: = All, a non-selection class for novice biathletes of any age.

RULES


This race shall be a Selection Race for the purposes of National Team Selection and YWOG team selection.
These Races are conducted under AB rules and by-laws, in particular the 2015 AB Competition Rules.

CANCELLATION
In accordance with the AB Competition Rules, under extraordinary circumstances a scheduled race may be cancelled. Should this occur AB will, where practicable, reschedule a replacement race however there shall be no refund of race fees. Race fees from any cancelled race shall be applied towards any replacement race.
