Race report
Beautiful day for a run. Cold (36F) at the early-start (8:15AM, although the clocks just changed so it was really 7:15) but warmed up into the 50's by the end.. Great seeing so many friends.
36F and pouring buckets as the second loop finished. Decided to cut it short to the Half rather than doing another 2 laps. The Blerch won.
First Half at Grand Ridge. Loads of hills. Saw Takao, Monte, Van Phan, and Kimberly Kuhlmann.
Had a blast taking pictures of the start of the Marathon and 50K and then ran the Full Marathon. Twas my second Full in 14 days (after Portland), qualifying me for the Marathon Maniacs as #7718.
Played backup photographer and racer. Took pics of the start of the 5M then dumped the camera and started running 5 min after the start so final time should have been 1:03, putting me 45 out of 110 (as opposed to 59th). Ah well. Had a blast. Got lots of pictures of amazing runners.
